southeastern Colfax County in northeast New Mexico
northwestern Harding County in northeast New Mexico
eastern Mora County in northeast New Mexico
northwestern San Miguel County in northeast New Mexico
west central Union County in northeast New Mexico

* at 1023 PM MDT National Weather Service Doppler radar indicated
heavy rain associated with a line of thunderstorms extending
across northeast and east central New Mexico... as well as southern
Sangre de Cristo Mountains. Rainfall rates in excess of one inch
an hour were detected by Doppler radar. The line of showers and
storms was moving to the south and southwest. Some locations
which may be impacted include Interstate 25 from La Cienega to
Springer... terrero... Pecos... El Porvenir and Mineral Hill.
* Strong flows and high water levels are expected in arroyos... small
streams and over low water crossings.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to tell how much
water is on the Road... do not drive through fast moving water of
unknown depth.
Both localized and distant heavy rainfall will create dangerous flows
in arroyos and over low water crossings. Do not attempt to drive
through these waters. Water in arroyos may travel many miles and take
hours to reach your location from upstream rain areas.

* at 853 PM MDT National Weather Service Doppler radar indicated
heavy rain associated with slow moving thunderstorms in the area.
Radar estimates indicate that these storms will be capable of
producing rainfall rates of between an inch and an inch and a half
per hour. Locations that are in the advisory area include
Folsom... Capulin and Des Moines.
* Strong flows and high water levels are expected in arroyos... small
streams and over low water crossings.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to tell how much
water is on the Road... do not drive through fast moving water of
unknown depth.
