for the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico...
The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on Tropical
Storm Bertha located about 105 miles southwest of the southernmost
Cape Verde Islands.
Disorganized showers and thunderstorms over the eastern Caribbean
Sea are associated with a westward moving tropical wave. Upper
level winds are not conducive for development of this system.
Elsewhere...tropical cyclone formation is not expected during the
next 48 hours.
